The Imse Vimse Soft Cover in PUL is a polyester knit wrap cover, laminated with PUL. This cover keeps baby dry, but is breathable and still allows air circulation. It is extremely soft, lightweight, pliable, and adjustable. The soft leg-gussets keep everything contained.  The soft hook and loop closure is easier than regular Velcro on Mom and baby’s skin.


In between uses, just wipe clean with a cloth or wipe.  When soiled, wash in sink and hang dry.  Or wash and dry at normal temperatures in washer and dryer.  We recommend Charlie’s Soap or Planet.  Please avoid fabric softeners, chlorine bleach, or any other whitening agents. Be sure to wash and rinse with enough hot water in order to eliminate detergent residue. Your ImseVimse Soft Cover should not retain odors, and if it does, please check this site for suggestions.

Diaper Covers work in tandem with Prefolds.

We recommend 6 to 8 covers for a Newborn/Infant or 4 to 6 covers for a 12+ month old.  However, if you’re easing into cloth diapering, you could eke by with just 4 covers and order a few more later.

For those babies under 7 pounds, we will loan you 6 covers with our Twee service.
